About Henrik

From Tour Experience to Structured Coaching

Golf has been at the center of my life for more than thirty years.
As a professional player, I spent over 15 years competing internationally — facing every side of the game: the technical grind, the mental battles, and the endless search for something that actually worked.

Like many golfers, I chased countless swing tips and training methods. Some helped. Most didn’t.
Eventually, I realized something important: improvement doesn’t come from chasing the perfect swing.
It comes from building stable skills, clear systems, and consistent performance under pressure.

That realization became the foundation for Amazing Golf Academy.

NLP and Golf Performance

Alongside my playing career, I studied Neuro‑Linguistic Programming (NLP) — the study of how people think, learn, and perform at their best.

In practical terms, NLP helps answer questions such as:

  • Why do some golfers thrive under pressure while others tighten up?
  • Why do some skills become automatic while others always need fixing?
  • How can we train the mind to support performance rather than sabotage it?

Golf is not only a technical challenge. It’s a mental and emotional one.
By integrating NLP principles into my coaching, players learn how learning itself works — how confidence is built, and how the mind and body cooperate when it truly counts.

Training the Body to Play Golf

Golf is often over‑taught through positions and mechanical checklists.
But great golf doesn’t come from controlling movements — it comes from teaching the body to move naturally and repeatably.

That’s why my coaching emphasizes:

  • feel over excessive thought
  • rhythm, timing, and athletic movement patterns
  • building stability through simple, structured drills

The goal isn’t to force the swing.
It’s to train the body to create the shot — so the mind can stay calm and decisive when it’s time to perform.

Thinking the Right Way on the Course

The range is for training.
The course is for scoring.

In the academy, every concept exists to answer one simple question:
What actually works on the course?

Players learn to:

  • make smarter decisions
  • manage pressure
  • commit fully to the shot at hand
  • trust their preparation when it matters most

When the round begins, the body must already know what to do.

The Coaching Philosophy

The entire academy follows a clear principle:
Improvement should be structured, measurable, and transferable to the course.
That’s why the learning journey progresses through three stages:
  1. Movement Stability – Build reliable movement patterns.
  2. Scoring Systems – Learn how to lower numbers through structured decisions and control.
  3. Performance Execution – Train the ability to perform under real‑world pressure.
This progression creates players who don’t just practice better — they play better.

Why I Built This Academy

If I could start my career over, I’d focus earlier on structure instead of endless swing tweaks.
This academy exists to give golfers exactly that — a clear, step‑by‑step system for building a game they can trust.

Because in the end, golf isn’t about perfect swings.
It’s about predictable scoring.
